This year's Rising Voices exhibition showcases the creative photographic work of students in Years 7 to 11 from Morpeth Secondary School. The students have been exploring the theme of place and belonging, looking closely at the environments around them and considering what it means to feel that you have a place in the world.

This exhibition aims to make you look again at the places around you and consider the many stories that can be found within a street, a building, a home or a community. We also invite you to think about the less visible places where belonging happens - the friendships, memories and shared experiences that make us feel at home. Most importantly, we hope you enjoy seeing Bethnal Green through the eyes of its teenagers. Their work is a poignant reminder of the importance of connection, tolerance, respect  - values that help communities to thrive and which feel particularly important in the world we share today.

This exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Amy Wren - Head Of Art and Photography at Morpeth Secondary school in Bethnal Green and Anna Lubelska - Founder of the Peace Building charity.
