A talk on the early photography techniques used by Whiffin and his contemporaries and their reuse by contemporary photographers. Antony Cairns gave an overview of Whiffin's glass plate techniques, and Almudena Romero discussed tintype, albumen and other early photographic processes, with reference to their own contemporary approaches.
