"Disposable" is a year long photography project with people who are living on the streets in London. Working with GLO, a homeless drop-in in the London Borough of Westminster, Disposable has been led throughout by photographer Adele Watts. Through regular workshops the project aims to empower each photographer with a voice to tell their story and share their perspective on life, facilitating access to creative participation. The project’s first exhibition took place in April 2013 at GLO’s outreach venue in Soho. This exhibition brings together a collection of this existing work as well as showing the projects’ continued development. This project was kindly supported by Labyrinth Photographic.
